It wasn't a vintage Chelsea performance by any stretch of the imagination, we just lacked that cutting edge in attack without influential wingers Duff, and Robben, we looked void of answers, and although Robben did eventually come on in the second half for Tiago he didn't see much of the ball ? Liverpool must of thought without Duff and Robben in the line up, that they could of come away with something to bring home to Anfield, and they nearly did if it weren't for Cech's fantastic save to keep out a header from Baros, but surely we had the best chance of the game when Lampard just shot over the bar from close range, our chances in the match were few and far between. On a good note the 0-0 drew is not bad news, with the away goals rules, and Duff should be back to full fitness soon from a hamstring strain.

I'm sorry to any fans of the guy, but why did we spend so much on Drogba? He was the guy we played route one to, and he was almost always second best to Hyppia and Gerrard. 0-0 is still not a bad result, and Jose says if we score and they score we get the away goal. It makes if very evenly poised for the second leg, hope for a referee like collina as I thought the ref last night was very fussy and didn't let play go on.

With a player with a price tag of £24 million over his head, his performance doesn't match the tag, as his lack of accuracy to wards goal, is shoot and miss at times, as with Kezman but obviously not as inconsistent. Don't get me wrong i would like to see them achieve the hight of success in there profession, and time will tell whether they stay on at Chelsea, but apparently Kezman is on his way out in the summer and what does the future hold for Gudjohnsen?

drogba will stay on and wether it`s adriano or shevchenko, one of the two will be partnering drogba up front next season!
if i were jose i`d keep gudjohnsenn.
just how many times has this guy got us out of trouble?
of all the big signings, one of the smallest gudjohnssen, is one of the best!!

Jose is playing Gudjohsen in midifield more, and we have to keep him!

A left back (for cover for Wayne Bridge) and a centre forward, is what we need.
