It's going to be a tight season and i hope we see goals coming in from all around the park but my edge this season is Drogba. He has the class.

I expect it to be Kezman. His goalscoring record in Holland looks class, and I expect him to edge ahead of Drogba to become our top scorer this season.

Kezman all the way, pre-season he's been on fire and has broken scoring records in Serbia and Montenegro and Holland, and England is next on his hit-list!

I went to the Open Day on Saturday and when they were doing shooting practice Drogba was missing quite a bit, was very worrying.

Hi Dan , Drogba didn't impress me at all, On Sunday was nice to see Zola again, shame he only played 30 minutes. Oh Mateja Kezman is pinning my hopes , I love to see him punishing goalkeepers ;D

I think he will score around 20 goals, he is a top class forward playing for a top class team, infact, I would put money on it.

I don't know. I hope you're right. I hope he scores 30 goals. You must think he is at least an outside chance for the golden boot then? Talking about putting money on it.. You can get odds of 17/1 on Kezman winning the golden boot. Not bad value. For mind Kezman is definitely a far more exciting prospect than Drogba (best odds on Drogba to win the golden boot is 25/2). I don't care who is scoring the goals I just want to see something really exciting from Chelsea. I hope to see some great promise this weekend against Birmingham. Someone just score me a hat trick please!!!!
Gudjohnsen is 50/1 to win the Golden Boot Joe Cole and Robben are both 300/1 Duff is 500/1
Odds of course can vary greatly from one betting shop to the next. I used the best odds (those offering the highest return for the punter). Drogba for instance is as short as 9/1 at some places, Kezman as short as 10/1 and Gud as short as 14/1.
Anyway I would never bet on anything besides the result of a single game. And not this early in the season. Though Chelsea to beat Birmingham at 8/11 does look good. A 73% return in 90 minutes isn't bad at all. Anyone like to make a case for Birmingham? Given their near favouritism to win the Golden Boot both Kezman and Drogba must both be overdue to score already. lol. Can Birmingham score twice against us? lol.

Wow, thanks alot Epi.
17/1 is good odds for Kezman I think, but Duff at 500/1, he does score about 10 a season normally(when he his fully fit).
