Hey im Joe. New 2 dis thing Think its a kool way to talk 2 fans. I don't know about you lot but i think the roman legion is the best thing to happen to chelsea for agez we complained about Ken Bates and the hole he was digging us into and i have to admit myself i though he was Pony and we get a decent chairman with money and some people are complaining that were not the same old chelsea anymore but think about it what would you rather be doing losing with a semi- decent squad or win with a full decent squad??? Post your thoughts wonna hear from u!!! Peace out

Hi Joe , I think we have been so lucky to get the opportunities that Abramovich and Ranieri have given us. Things are coming together , but I got to admit that at the beginning I was really unsure about it, I still did crave for old Vialli , Zola etc. squad formation. The change had to happen and it's working out. Nobody can see the future , but as for now , when can you recall Chelsea placed in such a good position?. Lets not forget that Arsenal , Man utd and possibly other teams are also fighting for the title. Ranieri said that right now he's seeing us finishing 3rd. We might end up 5th, or 1st, but football is a funny game , anything can happen. Chelsea has just lost 1 game in the premiership , even more important is that we are developing a team spirit and understanding that failed us at the early stages. ps: we are in newbies section , maybe this thread can be continued under 'All about Chelsea', anyone replying could just copy and paste these 2 posts in there and then continue. catch u around blues brothers

Im bak agen in reply to what you said i've thought about how we have started the season and realised how good of a start we have made we have shown certainally some of the best football this side of the season and have probably probeb the best start of any premier team this season if you can incllude cups and things. Plus to add to our downfall our new improved team needed to gel and i can't believe how fast we did that it amazed me Arsenal came out the blocks well in the Premier with their upstanding 2-1 win agaist the super blues but you can hardly say they outplayed us or for that matter did anything of the sort to us it was one little mistake in the end. We are a team that needs beating this season but at the moment i'm struggling to see a team who is going to do this with shining colours. As was at the game on sunday 9th Novmber against Newcastle and it amazed me how well we played we waited to attack when it came the on poutr came down i don't wether that was the sheer poorness of Newcastle on there day with the missing superstar Alan Shearer and the woeful defence or the sheer skill of the whole Chelsea team my thoughts was that we just played them off the park Shearer or no Shearer. If you where there i think you'd agree that we played an amazing game there and then and we are goin to be struggled to be beaten this year in any of our competitions. Thanks Joe ;D

When we lost against Besiktas we hit rock bottom . I am sure many of us were starting to feel uncomfortable about the Roman/Ranieri leadership . Some supporters were thinking and dreaming back the Vialli, Di Matteos Zola, Poyets .....days.
We did see Chelsea take a new direction, all so new ,it was a big gamble . We knew the quality of the players, then again good players do need good management and experience together as a squad , some of us were questioning tactics and line ups , even Ranieri was target it . There were talks about Sven taking Claudio 's place, Duff was unhappy about not playing enough , some friction within the squad ranks were starting to appear.
The squad was not bonding , gel as we say , the rota system was hindering this essential process, unfortunately we had no choice but to try every possibility before settling in to a stable squad. During these uncomfortable early stages we discovered the' better players ', I must say , Cudicini with some unfortunate tactics didn't have a clean sheet of health , but Ranieri full confidence kept him in the squad , I am now glad that he did stay. Talks about Buffon replacing him were going around , gossips maybe , but as unfounded as they were they did weaken the team morale and strenght.
We needed to follow the learning curve , have patience, that was Claudio doctrine, we'll get there he said, be patient. Look at how Johnson suddenly came alive , Lampard consistence , reliability and good play , Terry strenght , I could go on talking about many other players but the topic of this thread is and remains Roman Revolution.
Roman might or might not love Chelsea as much as we do , he could just treat the whole affair as a businness venture , in my heart all I care is that he has given us the opportunity to grasp the title, and possibly as early as this season . Did you see Roman face when Chelsea scored ?, I am sure he felt genuinely proud , I can't speak for him but I think he really feels part of us. His millions have brought Chelsea world class players, a new team and respect at the top of the premiership , that can't be bad. Ranieri's experience and intelligence has taken good advantage of the new aquisitons, thanks to his persistance we are now challenging the title.
I must add , without taking anything away from Roman , Claudio or the Squad , one very important factor that hasn't changed , we , the supporters were here long before Roman and Claudio joined Stamford Bridge, we were and still are the essential strenght behind CHELSEA FC.

Blue Star i am a bit dissapointed in your venture to Roman Abramovich (excuse the spelling) He seems estatic hes out there every game on the camera and is delighted to see goals flying in for chelsea. If Roman had no interest in this lub why would his stakes appereared here when there is other clubs which he could reallty of given a name to e.g Leeds United. Roman has truned this club upside down and gave the club a new slate to work on which is wat we needed but it was an added bonus when i aw the man who did it Roman because he really gives a dam for this club. Come On Chelsea Lets Have Southampton!!!

Old supporters die hard mate ;D But I think BlueStar ( in his post above) was supporting Roman , maybe he's still hanging on to the old CHELSEA Putney born goalkeeper Peter Bonetti

That maybe the case but some football fans through loyalty and history to follow the club people wwho have been coming for the past 20 years and love to see there club watever the outcome.
So just fink for a moment at people like that altough i don't agree with those people there is some fans with as much history as the club as although this is a little exagerated i think that it is a good point and how would people like that feel about there chelsea now?[glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow]

True , the spirit remains the same no matter how your tean is doing. I don't know if you have noticed, but lately I have seen loads more people supporting Chelsea. When I go to my local sport shop the chelsea section is always busy, it wasn't like that last year. There are many more teens wearing the Blues kit that I ever seen.
Not long ago wherever I went , I was infested with Arsenal and Man Utd vermin talk , this has changed , Chelsea has gained a place of respect .
As you know every succesful revolution brings a change of government, still a long way to go but looks like 'King Ars-enal' might just go in exile.

Yeah, all the glory seekers (or scum as I call them) are moving on to Chelsea, which isn't too pleasing as I cant stand them, how can you support a club because they are top of the league You support your local team , it doesn't matter if they are bottom of the lowest league, or top of the highest league.
