I can't see us loosing to Man U tomorrow. No Ruud, no Saha, no Cristiano Ronaldo. Their attack will obviously be very much weakened. Then with Rio still suspended, no Heinze and no Brown. Their defence will obviously also be weaker. Saying that Man U are a great side and should never be taken lightly and Mourinho really seems to be on top of that making sure our boys are not the least bit complacent amd come out with all guns firing. That's why I am predicting a 4-1 victory to Chelsea tomorrow.
I think our squad is better than last year and though I didn't think Claudio deserved to be tossed out I have a great feeling about Jose. So after we dispose of a much weakened United tomorrow I think we will only improve with each game as the side really gels and I just can't see anyone taking all 4 points off us in the following 15 premiership rounds. I really feel we have the squad this year to win the premiership. If we can say have 11 wins, 5 draws, no losses (anyone think that's unrealistic??) on the board when we come up against our only real test at Arsenal Dec. 12 if we beat them.. well we will have one hand on the premiership trophy.
You have to take one game at a time I know and it all starts tomorrow against United. I can't wait.

I think 16 games may be too much, last season we lost teams we wouldn't expect to lose to(e.g Bolton) I'm sure we will lose some games like that this season.
I can see us losing about 5 games this season, which is normally good enough for the title.
Did You Know? Ever since the Premiership started the team who has won the title has always lost 6 or less games in that season.

We always beat a team like United, then lose to someone like Bolton. 5 games should be good enough, unless Arsenal do what they did last season. I didn't know that actually, but it doesn't surprise me that much, as there have always been 2 or 3 teams just too good for the rest.

No. No. No. Beating United only to loose to a lesser team like Bolton is not something a true champion team would do. I don't want to see typical Chelsea. I think this season is our time to assert our dominance. You are always going to have a couple of bad games in a season where you just have no luck (exclude Arsenal last season) and may lose to sides such as perhaps Newcastle or even Middlesborough but it will be simply unacceptable for us to give any points to Crystal Palace this year. Arsenal will not be beat 5 times this year and nor should we be. I guess we will just have to see. We had better beat United today though. Then we can surely follow that up with wins against both Birmingham City and Palace to make it 3 wins from 3 and at least give us a perfect start.

Sure Dan, allthough Sunday victory against Manchester United wasn't clear cut, we did have some 'problems' and had to work hard to keep the advantage point. Not too sure about Newcastle away, I know they are strong at home, but not unbeable. Chelsea away odds. The BIG four Newcastle 50% in their favour Liverpool is70% in their favour Manchester United I should say 80% in their favour Arsenal 95% in their favour. Anything can happen

As always Arsenal is the dangerous ground, the rest can be taken care of if we get going giving our best and working as a team not individually looking for glory.
We need a bit more time to get mourinho and the squad in tune,we can only get better , we have respect for the gunners but we do not feel intimidated.
The British Empire and the Roman Empire disappeared, nothing last forever, there is hope that our turn is on the horizon, how soon? The sooner the better ;D

To be honest, I think we can get wins against Newcastle and Liverpool away, as they don't look the strongest. If we play well, we can even get a draw at United. I can't see us losing too many, that's for certain.
