I heard that boss Mourinho said he is looking for a central midfielder, although he seems to have earmarked Lyon's Michael Essien for that role. I think Gerrard is a best player and he should join Chelsea. That's the place where he can prove his talent

Apparently he was asked 3 times to sign on the dotted line, with no success. Which of course leaves the door wide open for Chelsea, and Real Madrid, to dual it out with money being no object in both corners.
Although surly Chelsea have the upper hand, as the sky is the limit or if your to believe some news reports a £35 million bid which would be a new British record, biting Man United's record swoop of £29 million for Rio Ferdinand from leeds.
But the question surly looms over would Steven gerrrend fit in to a team that already has a formidable midfield duo in Frank Lampard and Claude Makelele as who would have to make way as all 3 can't play in our current line up, and begs the question were and for who would he steep in for.
Sitting on the bench for any of this 3 would be out of the question as all want regular match's under their belt.

If Gerrard is destined to go to Chelsea it opens the door to mouth watering display of EPL Dominance which in fect may well close the door shut on our rivals as you don't have to be a tactical genius to understand the layout.
Claude Makelel will probably take up his accustomed role in front of the back 4 with Frank Lampard and Gerrard leading the midfield attack in tandem, and Duff and Robben pressing on with one target man be it Drogba or Gudjohnsen on till that elusive striker is pinned down.

The u turn
Apparently Steve Gerrard was contemplating move, as the media circus gathered they were only to happy to swallow the story hock line and sinker, and many did exactly that sink as fact turned in to fiction.
The burning of Gerrard's top was absolutely despicable it showed a lack of passion towards LFC, and disrespect towards Gerard like a scene from a medieval clip all that was missing was the tar and feathers.

I can't believe. That's so incredible !!!!! Stevie decided to stay in liverpool after saying wants to leave . Why can he decide so that ? In liverpool he was treated like that although they win champions league. So if the next year , liverpool fails in every league maybe he will be released. Come to our team, Stevie. Chelsea always welcome you.
