Thierry Henry was beaten to the World Player of the Year award by his French international colleague Zinedine Zidane today. The official FIFA 2003 awards, held in Basle, Switzerland saw Real Madrid playmaker Zidane crowned the best player in the world for the third time. |

As Jordan said, Zidane won, 2nd was Henry, 3rd Ronaldo, 4th was Pavel Nedved, 5th Roberto Carlos, 6th Ruud van Nistelrooy and 7th was David Beckham.

For some reason I am not to keen on any Arsenal players, but I really feel Henry should have taken the crown. Pity there were no Chelsea players to choose from, maybe our boys are second class ??. Who said that? |
